To kick off 2022, we come to you with news that the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) has begun accepting applications for a new challenge grant.
The NJ Arts and Innovation Festival Challenge Grant is a competitive grant that will provide $2 million to a for-profit or nonprofit entity to support the organization and execution of an arts and innovation festival in the summer or fall of 2022.
Applicants must:
be registered for business in New Jersey or hold a valid NJ Charitable Registration
be in good standing with the Department of Labor
have organized an event with attendance of 5,000 or more within the last seven years
Applicants may add a strategic partner or partners whose experience, knowledge, skills and ability will aid in the production, management, and marketing of the festival.
Applications are now open online. Submissions must be received by January 21st at 5pm.
