While Congressional COVID relief continues to stall, Main Street Alliance, with generous support from Crown Royal, is announcing the opening of the Main Street Relief Fund. This fund directly supports small grants for small businesses, including those who host live entertainment and were unable to access federal aid dollars.
If you are a small business that hosted live events up through February 2020, you are eligible to apply. Awards of $10,000 will be granted to small business restaurants, bars, and live entertainment venues across the nation, with priority in the initial round given to businesses in Atlanta, GA, Norfolk, VA, Detroit, MI, and Milwaukee, WI. Small businesses outside these target markets are still eligible to apply. Subsequent rounds will be announced in 2021. All small businesses in these industries are encouraged to apply and will be eligible to apply for subsequent rounds if not selected. For more information and to apply, go here.
